NMX (NodeMap eXtensions) files are standard translated .opo files renamed with a .nmx extension and are a means to add additional functionality to the program. Anyone may program NMXs, all you need to do is write your module in OPL, ensure that the first procedure in the file is called NMXRun:, and place the file in \system\apps\NodeMap\NMX\.

NodeMap comes with a help file containing the necessary information about the NodeMap file format, global variables and the existing routines that you can call.

At present NodeMap is distributed with two NMXs, TextMutator, which randomises the Note field of a node, emulating the cut-up writing technique of William Burroughs, and AgendaLink which creates an entry in your Agenda file connected with a node. And example of AgendaLink can be seen on the Screenshots & Tutorial page.
